To organise and assist in delivering world-class golf tuition to members and guests whilst being registered in and successfully progressing through the PGA Foundation Degree in Golf course as a trainee professional. To support with the day to day running of the Shop and Golf Operations functions to ensure that an exceptional 5-star service is delivered at all times in line with members and guests’ expectations.
An opportunity has arisen at Chestfield Golf Club. We seek a passionate and dedicated Assistant Course Manager to join our well-established team. The 18-hole downland private members' course has made considerable improvements in recent years and has recently finished a complete installation of an automated irrigation system with valve-in-head greens and approaches.
Furthermore, a course improvement plan is two years in, which will eventually see the restoration of all forty-four bunkers along with various drainage projects undertaken throughout the golf course.
The Assistant Course Manager would work alongside Gavin, the Course Manager, and join a team of five greenkeepers plus a mechanic. With the newly refurbished maintenance facility and a new fleet of machinery, it's an exciting time to join Chestfield as the club celebrates its 100-year Centenary in 2024.
